Upon waking have one warm glass of water with 1/2 a lemon juice. It will give you a boost of vitamin C. It aids in detoxifying the liver. It's also wonderful for your skin.

After drinking the lemon water spend a few moments meditating in a quiet place. I shoot for a minimum of 10 minutes a day, but if that is too long start with 5. Find a comfortable seat. It could be as simple as sitting in a chair. Close your eyes and count your breaths. Notice your thoughts as they come and go and continue counting. There is no wrong meditation. If it's difficult at first, that makes you normal:) Realize that in time with practice just like anything else, you will get better at.

If you can start this pattern daily it will help you become more focused over time. If will also help you break the pattern of checking emails, Facebook, instagram or whatever other digital habit you may have been forming.
